Nam Yang Pugilistic Association, founded in 1954, is one of the world’s oldest traditional Chinese Shaolin temple martial arts schools. Nam Yang continues to stand as a retreat for those seeking a profound journey of self-discovery and transformation. Since 2008, nestled on 12.6 acres of land on the side of a mountain spur, Nam Yang Kung Fu Retreat is a haven for individuals looking to contront themselves and break free from the constaints that hinder personal growth. 

Students that have trained with us have become world ranked martial artists, training in classic southern fukienese Kung Fu, Shaolin weapon systems, Chi Kung (Qi Gong), Meditation, the Shuang Yang, and more. Our demonstration teams have performed around the world.

For the very first time, we are bringing the Nam Yang school beyond the mountains of Thailand — to Europe. For two weeks, we will be teaching and living on a unique island location in the Netherlands. This marks a rare opportunity to train in the full Nam Yang system, in a new and powerful setting, while staying rooted in the same spirit of dedication and transformation.
