The boat to Nam Yang Island departs from the harbor of Flevostrand. This park is located at Strandweg 1, 8256 RZ in Biddinghuizen. At the park entrance, drive straight ahead and follow the road. You will now be driving on top of a dike. Once you have passed a bicycle path, take a sharp right turn. Now you are driving at the bottom of the dike, past a new apartment complex, and then a bit back towards the harbor. In front of a large gray warehouse, you will see a boat ramp on the left (where boats are launched). Our boat docks to the left of the boat ramp.

By car from Amsterdam:

Take the A1 towards Amersfoort.

At the Muiderberg junction, follow the A6 towards Almere/Lelystad.

After 35 km, take exit 10 (N302: Lelystad/Dronten/Harderwijk/Walibi World).

At the bottom of the exit, turn left towards Harderwijk.

After 10 km, you will reach a T-junction; turn left here.

After 200 meters, take the exit on the right.

At the bottom of the exit, turn right (= Karekietweg).

After about 4 km, you will reach a T-junction; turn right here (= Harderbosweg).

After 500 meters, turn left onto Strandweg. This is the entrance to Flevostrand.

By car from Utrecht:

Take the A28 towards Amersfoort/Zwolle.

Take exit 13 Lelystad.

At the bottom of the exit, turn left onto the N302 towards Lelystad.

After 4.4 km (after the aqueduct), turn right at the roundabout (the Harderdijk (N306)) towards Veluwemeer.

After 450 m, continue straight at the roundabout.

After 2.3 km, turn right onto Strandweg. This is the entrance to Flevostrand.

By car from Rotterdam/The Hague:

Follow the A12 towards Utrecht.

At the Lunetten junction, follow the A27 towards Amersfoort.

After 4 km at the Rijnsweerd junction, follow the A28 towards Amersfoort.

Now follow the directions from Utrecht.

By car from Arnhem/Nijmegen/Apeldoorn:

Follow the A1 towards Amersfoort.

At the Hoevelaken junction, take the A28 towards Zwolle.

Take exit 13 Lelystad.

At the bottom of the exit, turn left onto the N302 towards Lelystad.

After 4.4 km (after the aqueduct), turn right at the roundabout (the Harderdijk (N306)) towards Veluwemeer.

After 450 m, continue straight at the roundabout.

After 2.3 km, turn right onto Strandweg. This is the entrance to Flevostrand.

By car from Zwolle:

Follow the A28 towards Amersfoort.

Take exit 13 Lelystad.

After 450 m, continue straight at the roundabout.

Public transport:

From Harderwijk station, bus 147 departs every hour towards Emmeloord. This bus passes Strandweg. Get off at the Flevostrand stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the harbor.

Ferry times:

Our boat travels back and forth to the harbor of Park Flevostrand four times a day. The crossing takes about 10 minutes. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy the many attractions in the vicinity of Nam Yang Island for a day (click on “surroundings” for ideas).
